Raymond Michael Mullaney is the founder and president of Mullaney Management & Trust. He has been married to Kim Rodney for 36 years and they have three adult children and two grandchildren. They have homes in Fairfield County Connecticut and North Kingstown, RI. He grew up in South Providence, RI.

He worked as a para-legal at RI Legal Services before attending graduate school at Stony Brook University, NY. In 1977, Mr. Mullaney received a Master’s Degree in Social Welfare with a concentration on Public Health. He began his 35-year career in NYC trading municipal bonds, at the height of the NYC fiscal crisis. His work has gained wide recognition and has been quoted in the NEW YORK TIMES, the BOSTON GLOBE, USA TODAY, and NATION’S BUSINESS and many other newspapers and professional journals.

Mr. Mullaney is a public speaker and author of many articles on investments, economics and financial planning. He represented Massachusetts at the White House Conference on Small Business and has served on the board of directors of various professional associations as well as several public, private and non-profit organizations. In 2005, Mr. Mullaney was given the “Most Distinguished Alumni” award from Stony Brook University, School of Social Welfare. Since 2000, Mr. Mullaney has been developing a proprietary financial statement analysis software. Mr. Mullaney gratefully acknowledges the assistance of several graduate students from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, a Watertown, Massachusetts based business consultant, as well as several employees of Mullaney Management & Trust.
